Volunteers to work with Girl Scouts


Our girl scout Service Unit is having real problems encouraging Leaders to participate in the monthly meetings and also to volunteer at the Service Unit level. (gs levels outlined below)  The ladies who have been filling these roles work full time, run their own troop don't even have daughters in the program anymore.  Two of them never had children and the other two have children that are grown with their own grandchildren.  We need more help.

Service Unit Positions  include:
Service Unit Team Manager:  April Hill
Service Unit Assistant Manager:
Treasurer: Claudine Ramirez
Fall Products Coordinator: Pam Krueger
Cookie Coordinator: Claudine Ramirez & Mary Murphy
Events Coordinator:  
(help calendar and organize Mother/Daughter, STRIDERS track meet, Leader Retreats, etc)
Recruitment & Marketing: 
(advertise and plan events to encourage girls and adults to sign up for Girl Scouting)
Training: April Hill
Outdoor Trainer: Kay Craig & Robin Kohler
Registrar: collect and file paperwork with council
Secretary: Diane Bates,  take meetings notes & send out monthly newsletter
Webmaster: update Shutterfly site
Juliette Liason: (contact girls who do not belong to a troop once a month to inform them of upcoming activities)
Sunshine Director:  Leticia Gonzalez (send cards to leaders on their birthday & organize meals if there is a need)

* all positions attend a SU Leadership meeting once a month, usually the 1st Thursday of every month at Spring Branch Presbyterian Church 1215 Campbell 77055, 7pm
