Food Storage Classes

Food Storage Class: Sundays May 3, 17, 24, and 31 from 5-6 p.m. in the RS room
Sisters and brethren are invited to join Holly Furgason for a series of classes on food storage. The goal is to give you the tools to determine how much you need, how to go about buying it (even with limited resources), and how to use it in fun and delicious ways. To get you started, each class includes a practical assignment to do at home, with the chance for follow-up questions in the next class.

Faith-Based Food Storage (part 1 of 4); Sunday, May 3rd
Don't know much and not sure where to begin? Feel like you don’t have enough time, money or resources to do food storage? Think you don’t need to have it yet because you're in school? Does it seem inconvenient because you’re in an apartment? Don’t know where you would put it or how you would move it? Planning to depend on someone else’s? Planning to do it "later?" Already have some, but need some help or encouragement to finish? This is the class for you!

Food storage isn't just temporal; it's a matter of faith. Whether you have a little or a lot stored, come join Holly on May 3rd as she
* reviews the prophets' teachings on food storage
* shares how to overcome common challenges with faith and the Lord's help
* teaches how to do an inventory
* discusses how to determine how much your family should store
